Setting Up Your Email Account in Outlook Express

Introduction

The following step-by-step instructions with added images should help you set up your email account in Microsoft Outlook Express. Please follow them carefully!

Step 1

In Outlook Express, open the Accounts dialogue box (Tools -> Accounts).

Step 2

Click on Add -> Mail.

Step 3

In the new window that opens, enter your real name that you want people that receive email from you to see and click Next.

Step 4

Enter your e-mail address and click Next.

Step 5

Enter mail.tyrmida.com in both incoming and outgoing server fields and click Next.

Step 6

Enter your full email address in the "account name" field, the password given to you in the password field and click Next.

Step 7

Click on Finish.

Step 8

Select the account that you just created from the list (mail.tyrmida.com) and click Properties.

Step 9

In the new window that opens up, click on the Servers tab.

Step 10

Tick the box that says "My server requires authentication" and click OK.

Step 11

Click Close.
